Read Study 2Both studies highlight the effectiveness of specific therapeutic approaches in addressing mental health issues. Metacognitive Therapy shows promise in treating a range of psychological conditions through cognitive processes, while life review therapy proves beneficial for reducing depression among the elderly by facilitating reflection and meaning-making. I find the evidence supporting life review therapy's impact on elderly depression particularly compelling, given its focus on enhancing emotional well-being in a vulnerable population.
